New AirFrance logo – for inspiration

AirFrance announced earlier this year that it is re-branding itself.
This is important for 3 reasons:
1. The Last AirFrance re-brand was in 1975, clearly a long time ago even in aviation/airline terms.

2. The airline is not only re-branding, but also, changing it’s name from “Air France” to “AirFrance” – as in taking a two-word brand name and making it a one-word name.

3. Unlink other re-branding efforts, when an airline re-brands it has one more thing to take care of, other then just the logo, business cards, letterhead etc. The airline also has to re-brand the liveries  or tails of its planes.

So here is how the old and new logos along with additional stuff like a re-branding videos.
By the way, we like… but that’s just us…
